About WWP
The Walk With Pride Foundation is the charitable foundation of the Coastal Bend Association of REALTORS®, dedicated to helping children across the Coastal Bend start the school year with confidence by providing them with new school shoes.
What began more than 40 years ago as a small community effort has grown into a long-standing tradition of service and giving back. Originally created with a goal of providing 100 pairs of shoes to local children, the Foundation has expanded its reach over the years to serve families throughout Nueces, San Patricio, Kleberg, and Jim Wells counties. Today, the Walk With Pride Foundation partners with local schools, organizations, and community groups to help identify children in need and distribute shoes before the start of each school year.
The Foundation’s mission is rooted in the belief that something as simple as a new pair of shoes can make a meaningful difference in a child’s confidence, comfort, and readiness to learn.

Each year, the Walk With Pride Foundation provides over 1,000 pairs of shoes to children across the Coastal Bend through community partnerships and volunteer-driven distribution events. REALTOR® members, affiliate members, local businesses, and community volunteers all play a role in helping make the program successful.
The Walk With Pride Foundation is funded through donations, sponsorships, fundraising events, and community support throughout the year. Signature fundraising events include:
Walk With Pride Fashion Show — The Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser featuring local REALTORS®, affiliates, and community members coming together for an afternoon of fashion, fundraising, auctions, and community impact.
Walk With Pride Golf Tournament — A community golf tournament that raises funds to support the Foundation’s mission while bringing together members, sponsors, and supporters for a day of networking and giving back.
Raffles, auctions, and special fundraising initiatives held throughout the year by CBAR members and supporters.
Through the continued support of volunteers, sponsors, members, and the community, the Walk With Pride Foundation continues to make a lasting impact on children and families across the Coastal Bend.
